GGM India refuses to allow learning math to feel tedious or boring. We believe that learning should be invigorating, rewarding, and fun! Our teachers service students from grades 2-8, utilizing India’s NCERT curriculum standards to help kids achieve grade level proficiency and eventually move beyond age-level. Lessons are done digitally via Zoom, a free online meeting program, making it fully COVID safe and avoiding transportation costs, keeping GGM India fully free for all our students, because learning should never come with a price tag.

Classes are customized largely to the students, meeting weekly for 1.5 hours, with class sizes ranging from holding one to three students based on the overall student-teacher ratio of the program per semester. These small class sizes mean the GGM India tutoring program provides individualized, focused instruction matching or even besting that of for-pay tutoring services. After surveyal of student and teacher time availability as well as a student form inquiring grade level and their math experience, an initial assessment is taken. Based on the results, a student will either be paired with a teacher for one on one instruction or placed in a class with one to two other students with similar strengths and weaknesses, as well as availability. Before anything else, GGM India urges students to feel comfortable with their teachers as well as any classmates they may have. The first lesson will always be spent on introductory activities and fun games, as well as going over any technicalities and allowing students to ask any questions they may have. After this, the next many lessons ease into the content that will be covered for the rest of the semester. Once the necessary content has been discussed and students feel comfortable with it, classes go on to achieve a higher depth in the topics learned, or even advance in the grade level of the course for the remainder of the semester. Performance is evaluated via class participation, homework, and assessments given every two months.
